

He was appointed to the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, graduating with the class of 1943. Kenneth went on to serve as a line officer on various destroyers during World War II.
After the war he held responsible civil service positions in ordinance engineering. Kenneth served at the San Francisco Naval Shipyard for five years, and the San Diego Naval Repair Facility for ten years. He completed 36 years of federal service at the Naval Ship Weapons System Engineering Station, Port Hueneme and retired to Ventura in 1974.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 50 years, Helen L. Miller.
Kenneth is survived by his four children; Ken Miller Jr., Gailan May, Fred Miller, and Lynn McReynolds, 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday May 4, 5:00P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura. A Graveside service will take place, Saturday May 5, 11:00 A.M. at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, 5400 Valentine Road in Ventura. Pastor Jim Duran from The River Community Church officiating.
