Marcia Lynn Griffith

After fighting a prolonged illness ever so valiantly, it is with sad and broken hearts that we must announce the passing of our dear mother, Marcia Lynn Griffith, age 65, on August 12, 2017, at the Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura, CA.

She was born on November 24, 1951, in Niagara Falls, New York, to William Allen and Lillian Louise Robinson (Mangnall). Marcia graduated from Trott Vocational High School and worked many fulfilling years as a vibrant waitress, most recently at the Vagabond Inn in Ventura, CA, where she was loved and adored.

She was a Christian woman, loving wife, beloved mother, and an amazing friend to all. Marcia always enjoyed fishing with her husband, cooking for her family, crosswords puzzles, camping, and most importantly spending time with family and friends. She will always be remembered for her selfless love for all.

Marcia is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Floyd Gary Griffith; daughter, Jennifer Brigham; son, daughter-in-law and grandchild to be, Jason, Cynthia and Isabella Brigham; grandson, granddaughter-in-law and grandchild to be, Derek, Christina and baby Brigham; Mark and Sandy Brigham; her brothers and sister, William, Kenny and Karin Robinson; and many nieces and nephews; step children, John, Joy and Jennifer Griffith; and numerous other grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and last but not least, her “Boyz,” Buddy and Walter.

A memorial service will held in Marcia’s honor on Monday, August 21, 2017, 1:00 P.M., at the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura, CA.
