Mary Elizabeth Ryan

Mary Elizabeth Ryan, 94, of Ventura, passed away in her sleep on Saturday, July 9, 2016. She was born on September 24, 1921, in Van Nuys, California to George and Elsa Crowe. Mary lived in Lancaster, California prior to moving to Ventura. She has been a resident of Ventura for ten years.

Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and playing bingo. She loved to sing hymns and attend the Ventura Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, John J. Ryan, Sr., of Ventura; grandson, John J. Ryan, Jr., of Ventura; granddaughter, Pamela Ryan Hick, of Scottsdale, AZ; great grandchildren, Alice Hick, William Hick, Kaitlyn Hick, all of Scottsdale, AZ, and Matthew Ryan and Jay Ryan, of Ventura.

A private family graveside service was held at Eternal Valley Memorial Park, in Newhall, California.
