

Ola Mae Paul, 98, of Ventura, died Sunday, February 10, 2013, following a brief illness. Ola was born July 9, 1914 in Macks Creek, Missouri to Sam and Franci Rogers. She had been a resident of Ventura for seventy-five years moving here from Salinas.
Ola worked as a Product Inspector for Infrared Industries in Carpentaria for ten years, retiring in 1980.
She was a long time member at Grace Baptist Church in Ventura. She enjoyed bowling and had participated in bowling leagues at Poinsettia Bowl in Ventura.
Over the years Ola had gone on numerous fishing trips with her husband, children and grandchildren. Ola enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and her delicious meals will be remembered by many.
Ola is survived by her son Howard Meadows of Santa Clarita; son-in-law, Charles Zepf of Salt Lake City, Utah; brother and sister-in-law, Clint and Bettie Rogers of Ventura; grandsons, Richard Zepf (MaryAnn) of Oxnard and Bradley Meadows (Sylvia) of Fresno; granddaughters Marla Krupens (Don) of Austin, Texas, Pam Ford (D.R.) of Houston, Texas; eight great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Paul in 1991, son, Bobby Meadows in 1990 and daughter Patty Zepf in 2002.
Services will be held Friday, February 15, 2013, 10:00 A.M. at the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura, with Pastor Tracy Cook officiating.
Memorial donations may be made in Ola’s memory to Grace Baptist Church, 65 Mac Millan Avenue, Ventura, CA, 93001.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Rd., Ventura.
