Alice and family.  I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing.  We haven't been in touch since our High School days but I still remember your smile and treasure your friendship since Junior High.  My prayers are with you and your family.

So sorry to hear of Bob's passing.  I also enjoyed working with Bob at Vetco and Ventura Co ISD.  He always fought the good fight, and now he is home with the Lord.  I remember his several close calls with health issues while we were at the County.  Bob was always helpful to everyone he worked with, and a joy to work with, too. We had a lot of good laughs. So sorry to see Bob's obituary in the paper.  We've been out of town for several days for my birthday and missed his memorial service.  I remember seeing you both as such a loving and happy couple.  I think of you almost every day because of the woven blanket you gave us for our wedding ceremony.  It is on our sofa and is used year 'round.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family. 

Please contact me sometime if you'd like to go out to lunch and talk.  You know, my first husband passed away 35 years ago this October.

I remember being called to the Vetco Personnel Department and being told I was taking on a trainee programmer and that it wasn't open for discussion: Bob - who became one of my best and a valued friend in the process. No task was too tough nor deadline too tight and, yet, he always had a moment to share that unique chuckle with all of us. I was proud of what he quickly learned and then accomplished and even more proud to call him a friend.

Alice, Our sincere sympathies to you and your family. My mother Evelyn lived next door to your dear mother Evelyn at the Bonaventure. She remembers what a nice person Bob was when you and Bob visited there. Our thoughts are with you.

My prayers go out to you. What a great picture of Bob. Just the way I remember him when we last met at "The Palms". Both longtime County ISD "guys", I have only good memories of Bob. When I think about him, Ephesians 4:2 comes to mind, "Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other's faults because of your love". Bob definitely had a big heart, and a smile to go with it. He will be missed, but we find comfort in knowing that he's with our Father God forever.

Alice, It's been many years since we worked together at Vetco but I'll always remember Bob's positive and humorous approach to life, even though it had not been an easy one.  You were always a wonderful, loving couple and that love will live on in the hearts of your family and friends.

Dear Alice and Family--I was privileged to have worked alongside Bob for many years in "ISD" and I was always impressed with Bob's professional demeanor and his dedication to his profession and his family.
