My condolences to all of Yvette's loved ones. I am honored to say that Yvette is one of my oldest friends. We grew up as kids from military base to military base. I was always glad to know that I had a friend in Yvette because, no matter where I was, or what was going on, I knew there was someone who is always there who was going to make me laugh or smile or make me feel better. Yvette and I fell out of contact with each other during the dark ages of the internet and just in the last few years we were able to reconnect. I am so very thankful for all the memories that I have of us as kids and I have looked forward to my daily interactions with seeing her posts of food, selfies, funny memes and her beautiful family. Our world may seem a little less bright without her but, I know for a fact, that her amazing sunshine continues on with a brilliance inside of her children and grand. You will be missed and thought of often. 💚

Yvette was my best friend, my partner in crime.  She was the first friend i met when i came to West View HS . She made sure i knew who not to hang aroung and who not to date, even though i didnt listen on the dating part. After school we would dance to the oldies before we had to do our homework.  We always had each others back. She was a beautiful person whith a loving soul.  I can't imagine not being able to hear your voice on the phone yelling at me telling me what im doing wrong. Lol! I love and miss you dearly my sweet friend!  Take the wings i drew for you and soar as high as you can!
