Lived, loved, laughed and enjoyed the times and meals spent with family; Mary Ann, Bob (Bernie). Bill (Heather), Buddy and Kathy (both predeceased), nieces, nephews and friends from far and near. Carol Ann passed peacefully in her sleep on Thursday April 22.
She retired from her professional career as Manager of the Foreign Collections Department at the Royal Bank of Canada. Thereafter, it was a special day when many of us received a “Carol Creation”, a truly personalized creative card written for the celebrated occasion, a skill she developed during retirement.
Carol was always organizing and planning when not watching her taped shows or Formula 1 racing on TV. Constantly concerned about family, you could definitely expect a “just checking in’ email or phone call the day after a disaster or incident occurred near you. And, heaven help the family member who didn’t drop in to say ‘Hi’ when in the area. She loved her work in the florist shop, visiting friends in Spain and San Francisco, entertaining, partying and helping with food preparation at family events wherever they may be. Strong willed and confident our Dollar Store guru and family advisor who, like it or not, would always ‘tell it as it is,” will definitely be missed.
Special thanks to the Montreal team (cousin Joyce, Heather Boyle and brother-in-law Bill) who worked tirelessly when Carol was hospitalized so quickly. May many blessings come your way.
A live stream memorial mass from Holy Family Parish in London, ON, will take place on Friday May7th at 10:00am ET
