"Papi" “Buddy” Regis Caron was a great man, born on September 18, 1964. He had much wisdom to share and cared deeply about others. He left us on March 4, 2026, at Verdun Hospital.
Regie enjoyed the company of his buddies, but most of all, he cherished his children and grandchildren, who lovingly called him Papi. He had a passion for helping others and would do anything he could for anyone in need. Many will fondly remember hearing his familiar greeting, "Hey Buddy" — a phrase that perfectly reflected his warm and welcoming nature.
Deeply devoted to his community and parish, Regie believed in kindness, service, and bringing people together.
One of Regie's greatest joys was displaying the artwork created by his grandchildren over the years. Their drawings covered his kitchen walls, creating a colorful mural filled with love and memories. He was incredibly proud of each and every one of them.
Music was another of Regie's passions. He especially loved Guns N' Roses and many other bands from that era. He also had a particular admiration for dragons, as the Dragon was his Chinese zodiac sign. His interests reflected his unique personality and youthful spirit.
Regie had a deep love for animals and cared for them with the same kindness he showed to people. He leaves behind his loyal buddy(dog), Teddy, and his beloved cat, Panther.
Papi will forever live on in the memories shared by his children, Regis, Francis, Kaitlyn, and Chantelle; his cherished grandchildren; his many buddies; and the community.
