It was good to see you all again, unfortunately under such sad circumstances. I notice Anne & Arie had been together in both their obituary photos - a testament to how close they were in real life!

Pete & I knew Anne & Arie from the time we moved into our OK Ave home in 1986, 32 years ago. They were great neighbours, esp when we first moved in & were overwhelmed with making our home liveable. Arie sprayed our fruit trees for us for the first few years while we got our bearings.Sometimes, we stored our fruit in his "apple dungeon".

They were always the first to show up at special events, usually with some baking to offer. Here's a photo of your folks (& several other people don't know) at my Mom's bd celebration when they moved to Vernon from Calgary in 2011. Before that, your folks & mine would take turns treating each other to dinner whenever my folks came to town.
