Meyers family announces
the passing of Albert
Joseph Meyers on January
23, 2014 in Vernon. He
was born on June 17,
1927 in Swift Current,
Saskatchewan.
Albert will be missed by his wife Shirley and
children: Wayne (Wendy) Meyers, Gwendalyn
(Jim) Gerbrandt, Debbie (Gerry) Fuerstenberg,
and Ron (Penny) Meyers; 8 grandchildren and
13 great grandchildren. Albert and Shirley were
married for 62 years. They lived in Abbotsford,
Williams Lake and retired in Vernon.
Albert was a great husband and father. He will
be remembered as an avid outdoorsman who
loved gardening, hunting and fishing. He loved
sharing his stories about his life with anyone.
Many thanks to the staff on 2 East at Vernon
Jubilee Hospital. The family had a private
service and believe that Albert will spend
eternity in “The Happy Hunting Grounds”.
