We regret to announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Christopher James Carter of Vernon on February 24, 2011, at the age of 25 years. Chris was a resident of Vernon since 1995. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother, Lynn Carter of Lumby; father Peter (Judy) Carter of Williams Lake; brother Dan and sister Victoria, both of Williams Lake. He is also survived by paternal grandmother, Pamela Carter of Vancouver, maternal grandparents, John and Betty Gibbons of Summerland, and a number of extended family members. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, March 4, at 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of Pleasant Valley Funeral Home, with Mr. Brian Jackson officiating.
