Many wonderful memories from both childhood and adulthood! Uncle Wayne was a great man. I remember with laughter how "fired up" Uncle Wayne would often get when talking about politics lol. You will definitely be missed! Rest in peace forever!

Wayne was a part of our life since we became neighbours in the 50's when we moved to North Van. He married my sister Sylvia when she was 18 and he was 22. My heart goes out to their daughter, our niece Theresa, her husband Victor and their two girls, Payton and Jasmine.

Deep condolences and love from my family to you and yours and to everyone that knew and loved Wayne. My mom and his cousin, Orilla "Rilla" Griffin sure did love him. To me, as a kid, visiting - I never did forget that "cowboy" with the big, warm smile, bigger heart and glorious giggle.

My big cousin, Wayne, with his red hair and beautiful smile who loved good food and a good laugh will be remembered for his loving heart, affable demeanor, and hard work. When my siblings and I were young Wayne and Harvey worked with my dad, Ted Griffin, for a while in Tofino in the fifties. He had a great sense of humor with his younger cousins and never was stern or angry with us. Much later, he visited us with his wife in Toronto. he was the same loving cousin his hair was grey but he still walked tall and had a genuine smile. I will miss him and I will cherish my memories.
