Eileen Lang

September 4, 1926 – July 14, 2016

Eileen passed away peacefully at 89 years at Heron Grove in Vernon.

Eileen is survived by her two sons; Randy (Linda) of Vernon and Ken (Carol) of Lake Country; five grandsons Rob and Scott of Vernon, Chris of Edmonton, Steven of Vancouver, and Matt of Chase and five great grandchildren. She will also be missed by her sister Helen and Martha (Griff), and brothers Eric (Anne), Henry and Emil.

Eileen was born in Warsaw Poland and immigrated to Canada when she was sixteen months old, settling in Tomahawk, Alberta. She moved to Trail where she married her late husband Edward Land in 1946. They moved to Nelson in 1948 where their two sons were born. In 1970 they relocated to Vernon. Eileen’s last years were spent at Heron Grove.

Eileen went to be with her husband who passed away on June 4, 2016. They had been married 69 years, and now are together again.
