June 12, 1938 – October 6, 2025
It is with deep love and profound sadness that we share the passing of Helen Morden, a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and kind soul whose warmth and generosity touched everyone she met. Helen was born on June 12, 1938, in Hythe, Alberta, and passed away on October 6, 2025, in Vernon, British Columbia, following a tragic accident.
Helen was a loving and dedicated mother to her children, Sherri (Bob), Debbi, and Vince (Wendy). Her family was the heart of her life, and she loved them more than words could ever express.
She was a proud grandmother (“Koko”) to Chere (Jon), Danielle (Ryan), Nicholas (Lindsay), Stephanie (Adam), Kelli (Cameron), and Erika (James), and a devoted great-grandmother to Carter, MacKenna, Madison, Luka, and Jo.
Helen was predeceased by her brother Lloyd Wiebe and her longtime companion Marvin Stevens.
Known for her boundless generosity, Helen would give the shirt off her back to help anyone in need. She had a heart of gold and a gentle spirit that radiated kindness, compassion, and selflessness.
Though her passing was sudden and heartbreaking, her legacy of love, strength, and giving will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
“What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose,
for all that we love deeply becomes a part of us.”
— Helen Keller
