Jim was born April 20, 1942 and passed away May 9, 2026 with his daughter Kim by his side. Jim loved to tinker, build and create things. He also liked to fish and camp in his younger years. He enjoyed western movies and country music when eight tracks were a thing! He loved watching the Price is Right and enjoyed having a cold beer! He also loved living in Salmon Arm and working out of his shop, where he would refurbish, strip and create things out of almost anything he could buy from auctions, garage sales or abandoned buildings or sawmills. We moved Dad to Vernon almost 3 years ago when his eyesight started to fail him and he needed more care. He enjoyed having his daughters visit him regularly as well as his son-in-law Jason and his other family members. He especially liked when his son Dustin would make the trip down from Prince George to visit. Jim was predeceased by his daughter Debi, his brother Marty, his parents Joe and Lil , his nephew Gary and his niece Julie. He is survived by his two daughters, Lisa and Kim(Jason), his son Dustin, his four grandchildren, Logan, Karley , Kieran, and Kalen, his siblings Cecile(Richard),Jolene(John) and Don(Colleen) as well as many nieces and nephews and other extended family members and friends. He is also survived by his second wife Vie and her family. Cremation to follow.
A small family gathering will take place at a later date in Salmon Arm as per Dad‘s wishes. Rest in peace Dad ….we love you!
