Jessie was born in Vernon to Willis and Helene McMullen. She lived in Vernon until she married Harry, a career Army officer in 1946. They travelled the world until his retirement and early death in 1975. After his death Jessie moved back to the Okanagan, first to Lumby and then to Vernon where she was companion to Frank Piper until his death in 2004. Jessie worked for the RCMP in Ottawa and Vancouver. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting, sewing and quilting. She always looked forward to visits from her family in Vancouver. Jessie quietly lived out the rest of her life in her hometown and will be remembered by her daughter, Pat Andrews(Ross), three grandchildren, Bryan, Neil, Leslie, their spouses and six great grandchildren.
