It has been many years since I spent time with the man I always called Mr. Schaffer. He always treated us kids with patients and good will. The Schaffer house was always open to all and many of us would raid the fridge after hrs. to fill our always hungery appitites. never a word said ,and always a smiling face when you ran into Mr. Schaffer the next day. John was a good man and I will always have found memories of being around him as we grew up. I send my prayers to all of the family at this difficult time.

Uncle John was such a nice sweet man. We will miss his infectious smile and his laugh. To the Schaffer and Nutter families, we are sorry for your loss.
