Ken (KO) Hanson was
born January 18th, 1923 in Archerwill Saskatchewan. He passed away peacefully at Vernon Jubilee Hospital, Vernon on January 31st at the age of 90. He will be sadly missed by, Dora Swanson, his companion of many years. KO is survived by his younger brother, Gordon Hanson; three daughters: Jan Aarsen of Vernon, Kari Dionne of Delburne, AB, Kim (Donald) MacPhail of Dartmouth, NS; and two step daughters, Roberta Williams of Victoria BC, and Gail (Ben) Keith of Turner
Valley, AB.; 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. KO was a veteran of W.W.II and Korea with 25 years in
the Canadian Armed Forces. He had been a resident of Vernon since 1973. KO loved curling, hunting, fishing and traveling.
A memorial gathering will be held in the Pleasant Valley Funeral Home Tea Room at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 7th, 2013.
