Laura Jeanine Mariette Noga

Laura was born in St. Boniface, Manitoba on August 08, 1931. She was born to John and Flora MacDonald and was one of six girls. She spent a lot of her life in the Northwest Territories. She also lived in Alberta, Manitoba and British Columbia.

She married Earl Howard (Howie) Nessel on February 14, 1953, in Hay River, NT. They had eight children and had settled in Alberta when Howie passed in 1971.

She married Julian Walter Noga in 1973. The family moved back north in 1974 - to Hay River, NT. They resided in the north until 1995 when they moved to Camrose, AB.

After moving to BC in 2013, Julian passed away. And Laura moved back to Alberta. She moved back to British Columbia in 2019 to live with her daughter, Kathleen and family.

Laura leaves behind sons, Mathew Nessel (Sheila Stewart), Gregory Nessel, Step Son, Tim Noga (Carol Pegg), daughters, Linda Conron, Cindy Haley (Wade Haley) and Kathleen Nessel (Kim Gmeinweser).

Sisters, Noella Wright and Nancy Stafford, grand children, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

She was predeceased by two sons, Raymond and Leon, her daughter Marlisse Planidin (Wayne) and her daughter-in-law Shelley (Raymond).

Her graveside service will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at the Valleyview Cemetery in Camrose, AB - Section L, Part 3.
