My thoughts are with the family and friends of Mavis. David and I were always welcomed into her home and we enjoyed her hospitality, her determination and her frankness. She came to visit David and I in Lake Cowichan when we lived in a small rustic cabin on the waterfront. I remember coming home after work to find her in the middle of a yard remodel. (It needed it) I have thought of her often and with fondness since David's passing in 2000. Say hi to David for me Mavis and give him a big hug!!! I know he will be happy to see you.
