Michaela Husband

Michaela Husband (nee. Ciceri) passed away peacefully on July 2, 2026 in Armstrong, B.C.

Michaela was born at Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, B.C. to Reg and Ella (nee. Simpson) Ciceri on July 4, 1930.

Michaela married her high school sweetheart from Vic High (class of 1948), Allan Husband. Her life was marked by a long and happy marriage of 72 years and by her role as a strong, loving matriarch of her family.

She lived and worked in Victoria, Prince George, and Kabul, Afghanistan. She then retired to the Shuswap region and eventually Armstrong. She was a devout reader and was highly proficient at knitting and petit-point.

Michaela is predeceased by her partner Allan, and lovingly remembered by her children, Wendy (Roy) and Bob (Margaret), her 7 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.

Though hearts are heavy, family members find comfort in the memories we shared and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Gratitude is extended to the caring staff at Pleasant Valley Manor in Armstrong, who kept Michaela comforted in the last days and weeks of her life.
