Terry was born in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba May 26, 1955 to parents Lorraine and Charles Gray.
In her early years Terry lived in France, Ontario, Quebec, B.C., then back to Manitoba where she completed her education. Upon graduating Terry married Brian Muirhead and moved to Winnipeg. For seven years she lived and worked as a travel agent while pursuing her love of travel. Terry then relocated to Kelowna B.C. where she continued to work as a travel agent.
In the late 80s Terry visited her Aunt and Uncle on their boat Avilion. It was here that she met and fell in love with the love of her life Richard.
Eventually Terry and Richard bought the Avilion and sailed the Caribbean for 4 years living their best life. Wanting to do more land travel they sold the Avilion and returned to Canada and were married in Kelowna in August 1990. They bought property in Vernon B.C. where with the help of Terry's father built a home. Terry took a gemologist course and worked for a custom jeweller in Vernon.
Terry and Richard alternated their travels between traveling to Europe, India, and Asia and driving down to Mexico meeting and making friends along the way.
In Vernon Terry continued to sail with Richard and was an avid pickleball player as well as book club member (occasionally reading the books).
Terry and Richard had a wonderful life together full of adventure, friendship, and great love.
Terry leaves to mourn her loving husband Richard, her mother Lorraine, her siblings, Charleen, Trish (Doug), Rick (Tracey),Kathleen(Darcy) and numerous nieces and nephews. Terry was predeceased by her father Charles in 1997.
