Wendy Ann Din

Wendy was born in Ashcroft B.C. on November 27, 1949. She is survived by her husband of 56 years Siraj, her 3 boys Ish (Trish), Shah and Jan. She is also survived by her 3 grandsons Matthew, Taai and Keyaan. Along with her sisters Melody, Debbie and her brother Jim.

Wendy and Siraj moved to Vernon B.C. in 1974 after purchasing The Peoples Store on 27th Street in Vernon. Which they ran until 2017.

She will be missed by her friends and family.

There will be a service for Wendy at The Landing Church (5871 Okanagan Landing Road) on Wednesday August 19, 2026 at 11:00am.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Three Lakes Medical Clinic, The BC Cancer Clinic, Vernon Jubilee Hospital and The North Okanagan Hospice Society.

In lieu of flowers the family would like you to donate to the North Okanagan Hospice Society.
