Unfortunately, my wife and I were out of the state when Mildred passed.

I met Mildred in 2007. She waited in the old lobby of the hospital for a ride after working as a volunteer. Those visits led to a long term relationship with a delightful lady. I still have a picture taken with Mildred at her 100th birthday party. In later years it was always nice to see her at Volunteer events. Mildred always remembered my birthday with a card. I always tried to get a card to Mildred on September 10th.

Mildred was such a wonderful lady. Worked with her at Murphy’s. She kept things lively and enjoyable. She loved her family and it was a pleasure to know her. Sympathy to the family. 🙏🏻

I am so sorry for the loss of such a wonderful and amazing lady! I will always remember the times when my mother and Mildred would huddle together at family get togethers and were called fondly The Golden Girls by all of us! Rest in Peace and say Hi to my mom for me! Will love and miss you always!

I am so deeply saddened by the loss of Mildred, I worked at Versailles for a long time. Each day she would not remember my name but she would remember my face. Every day we would say her favorite prayer together. I am truly sorry for your loss. She was a force to be reckoned with, she once chased me down the hallway in her wheelchair on my first day because I gave her a plastic cup instead of glass. Hahahaha. Peace be upon your family.

Dear Keenan and Family, Sending my deepest sympathy in the loss of your Dear Mom. Remember her so well from Murphy's. I had no idea she was your Mom then Keenan. Remember her also from the hospital . I wanted to visit her at the nursing home but never got the chance. She left quite a special impression on me many years ago just as you did Keenan in 1st grade. May God bless you all thru this time of loss and sorrow. Sincerely With Love, Sherry Garrison Hunt
