Our thoughts and prayers are with Gerard Tom Kate and Anne Marie and Wildy Family circle,on this sad day. We have great memories of Mrs Wildy and her journeys home to Ireland She was a great women who was able to overcome all barriers. She was a great mother who always had time for her children and grand children great grand children.
Today we think of her in our prayers Jacqueline Eddie Mark and Sarah Doherty Mary Queen of The Gael Pray for her

Dear Nannie,
Thank you for all the wonderful memories.
Ian, Brent, Kelsey and I will always remember our lunch visits with dad at Adrianne's, Romeos, Sassys and "at your new place". These times will be cherished forever.
You could not have been anywhere better over the past 9 or so months.  You had the best care. Thank you for sharing this time with dad and Carol. I am so thankful for the time we shared there and having the pleasure of meeting Peggy and Angel was wonderful. 
Nannie, you showed class, humor and great dignity right up to the end. You taught me how to laugh even at the most difficult times.  You are the strongest women I know. May you rest in peace. Say hi to everyone for me!

Aunt Anna one of my fondest memories of  you is your laugh, you liked to laugh and especially with our mother your sister Rita. It could get loud and was infectious to the point were you’d hear someone say no no don’t make me laugh again, and of course off you two would go again and louder still.

Nanny, there are so many memories that I have from sitting up late with you watching MacGyver when I was meant to be sleeping to getting scolded for trying to climb the apple tree out your back! You were the most amazing Granny who never beat around the bush and never minced your words. I’m so glad that you were able to come to Ruariri and my wedding and that you got to meet Pearl and Pippa. You made such an impression on Pearl and I know she will always hold a special place in her heart for you. You will truly be missed xx

To my dear Nanny,

I will always remember your bright blue eyes and giant smile.

I will remember the times when I was a kid you would watch our air bands on Pembroke Street and clap and smile.  I remember the Wildy Family Easter Dinners at the Days Inn and the hugs and kisses that followed.  I loved coming over every weekend to see you and Granda.
I will remember the time I lived with you and Granda on Maddock Drive E and the dinner table chats about each other’s day.  I remember the kindness you gave to my friends.  All my friends loved you and you knew all their names.  I remember you creating the iconic phrase “Bad Jim/ Good Jim”.
I remember the times working at Tillicum mall and bumping into you and lily going for your stroll and giving you a hug and a kiss and popping over for a tea and chat at your place on Tillicum Rd and the wave you gave me from your balcony every time.
With all the family birthdays, air bands, weddings, parties, pop ins and chats you were always happy to see me and interested to know what was happening in my life.

You are an amazing lady and I am so lucky to have you as my Nanny.
I love you with all my heart and I will miss you.

It is with sympathy and sadness to hear of the passing of my aunt Anna Wildy.  I will miss my visits for fish and chips and the many chats we had about our family ancestry.

Nanny you will be missed by us all. Will always remember when you were over visiting and got called back early from Dublin as me and Catherine had a party in the house.  You told us not to worry- there’s worse things in the world and told mum to go easy on us! So glad we got to see you last year and the boys got to know their great granny. Dear Mum,

It is with a sad heart that I am writing this today, knowing that I won’t be hearing your voice every Saturday night when I would phone you to catch up.  Sean and I will always have the memories of you being here in Ireland last year with us and the family.  You were a great Mum and I take comfort knowing that during your last days on Earth you were well looked after and happy.  We will miss you lots.  Love you.  AnnaMarie and Sean. 


From tales of your honeymoon spent with Paddy and Eva (who took away the mattress and remade the bed!)      .....    through all the good fun and ice creams whenever the families got together here is just one lovely memory.   We are so glad we had the chance to meet up again last year.   

Lovely memories of our visits to Belfast many years ago but also your visits to England. Always a smile and a laugh and we are all so pleased that we were able to see you last year in Ireland.  Rest in peace.

To my special mom, I miss you so very much & all those special Sunday drives we used to do, stopping for our French vanilla coffees and especially going to Adrienne’s Tea Garden on Mother’s Day for afternoon tea, those memories will always keep me smiling.

Dear Anna,  Thank you for allowing me to share in your final journey.  We had tears and laughter, good days and bad days after you came to live with Tom and me.  Eventually, being here was not so strange and you began to feel safe and secure, cared for and valued.  I can only believe that you were ready to leave us.  Dementia took so much from you but you never lost your fierce spirit and will to get up and get moving.  I will always remember asking you if you'd like a cup of tea and your response was "Depends.  Are you making it?"  That was me told!
