Annie Du berry passed away in the early morning of March 19, 2024 at the age of 92, with sons Ken and Walter by her side. Hospitalized since December 9, 2022 Annie faced various health challenges before succumbing to a stroke. Annie's humor, candor, and kind words never faltered during her period of struggle.
Following 68 years of marriage, Annie is survived by husband James; sons LeRoy, Ken and Walter; grandchildren Justin, Shawn-Ray, Tyrone, Brittney and Ashlee; great granddaughter Ameera.
Annie immigrated from the Caribbean Island of Montserrat in 1956. From where she embarked on a nomadic life of a military family, that took her from the east to the west coasts of Canada and West Germany.
Annie was passionate about travel and entertaining family and friends with elaborate dinner events. She was a gifted seamstress with creations of curtains to wedding dresses for clients.
