Athanase Kotronias (Big Tom), age 72, of Victoria, British Columbia passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. Tom was born in Nafpaktos, Greece. Forever in our hearts and souls, he died peacefully, resting in his sleep.
Tom had a big, kind heart. Always with a smile on his face, a twinkle in his eyes and an apron on his chest.
He is now in Heaven with his parents, father Pano and mother Dina. Lovingly survived by his wife, best friend and rock, Tasia, daughter Dina, son Yioti, sister Vicki, brother-in-law George, nephews Jimmy, Pano and Nick Ghinis.
Viewing will be on Sunday, March 12th @ 4:00pm at First Memorial Funeral Services - 4725 Falaise Dr., Saanich, BC.
Funeral services will be on Monday, March 13th @ 1:00pm at the Greek Orthodox Church - 4648 Elk Lake Dr., Saanich, BC. To be followed by sharing one of Tom's favourite things .... delicious food.
