Bhupinder Singh Dhade

Bhupinder Singh Dhade was born in Abupura, Punjab, India, and was the eldest of four children born to Bachittar Singh and Budhan Kaur.

Bhupinder left this world peacefully on the afternoon of June 10, surrounded by his loving family in his final moments. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 66 years, Sukhdev Kaur Dhade.

Bhupinder and Sukhdev immigrated to Canada from India in 1995 and made their home in Victoria, British Columbia, where they lived for the remainder of their lives together. They built a beautiful family and raised five sons: Kuldeep Singh, Hardeep Singh, Kulwinder Singh, Harbinder Singh, and Gurbinder Singh.

Over the years, their family continued to grow. In addition to his wife and sons, Bhupinder leaves behind five daughters-in-law, ten grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense pride and joy.

By profession, Bhupinder was an elementary school teacher and was deeply respected by students, colleagues, family, and friends alike. He will be remembered for his calm demeanor, gentle presence, wisdom, and the love he shared with everyone fortunate enough to know him.
