

Predeceased by his wife, Margaret McKenzie Josling of 43 years, 2006, Brian is survived by children, Tracy (Daughter, Isabella); Kelly (Kelsey); Brad (Penny); Grandchildren, Grace, Juliet, Isabella, Griffin, Tess; Sister Beverley (Son Brian Jr.); Sister Elizabeth (John, and children Colin, Joel, Jocelyn); and loving partner of eight years Victoria Kuhl. Brian has extended McKenzie and Hart families, and friends in Ontario.
Born in Toronto, Ontario to Catherine Isabelle Hart and Thomas Leslie Walmsley, Brian's Father was an RCAF Flying Officer in WWII. In 1944, Brian lost his Father Thomas to a flying accident in Boundary Bay, BC. Brian's Mother Catherine married Cecil Josling 1948. Brian was close to his second Father Cec, and his new siblings Beverley and Elizabeth.
Brian graduated from the University of Toronto with Bachelor of Commerce and MBA degrees. He was President of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. Brian's 35 year career Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver spans leadership positions in the music industry (Capitol, CBS), wireless industry (Rogers Cantel), and the fuel cell industry. Brian served on fourteen private and public sector Boards within international industries.
Brian was a dedicated member of Christ Church Cathedral Victoria and Vancouver. Brian was a brilliant, dedicated Spouse, Partner, Father and Grandfather. Brian was a messenger of hope. He lovingly guided his family, the cherished 'Posse' (Grandchildren), and younger generations toward their purpose in life. His serving spirit for change, generosity, and fairness will be carried forward by his family.
