Brian, or "Uncle Brian" as he was fondly known, was born in Vancouver, BC on April 20, 1945, son to Bing and Jesse Wong. He is survived by his sister, Elaine Downey, a niece and nephew, and many cousins.
Brian studied chemistry at UBC and enjoyed a life of friendships, family and photography. He spent time living between Burnaby and Victoria before eventually settling down on the island where he could be found enjoying the wildlife of Swan Lake, and visiting his friends at the camera and charity shops. He will always be remembered as having a gentle, humorous and good natured soul. He was charismatic and always made friends, no matter where he was, even until his final days. During family gatherings he had a youthful vibrance which was always a draw, especially to his younger relatives. He will be missed.
Please feel welcome in celebrating Brian's life by joining us on Saturday July 11 at 10:30am at First Memorial Services, 4725 Falaise Drive.
