Brigitte Renate Krieger was born in Obermunde, East Germany on February 28, 1939 and emigrated to Canada when she was in her teens.
Brigitte (also fondly known as Bea) was a wife, a daughter, a mother, a sister, an aunt, an Oma, a great grandmother, a great aunt and a friend to all.
Her talents had no limits. She would try her hand to anything and as a gifted gardener, decorator, crafter, knitter, quilter, seamstress, gourmet cook, baker, photographer, and an avid paddler.
Brigitte's love of all creatures ran deep and she had compassion and respect for all animals. Her chickens had names and insects were carried safely out of the house. On a walk, depending on how many dogs had to be petted and people to be greeted, a half hour stroll could turn into one much longer.
Brigitte's life revolved around her family and her passing leaves a void that cannot be filled. With her always in mind, knowing her love of family, we will continue to care for each other.
