Preceded in death by her beloved “Arn” (Arnold Edward Manness in 2016); her parents Sam (Tuck) and Edna; and her sister, Audrey. She is survived by her son, Michael (Jennifer); nieces, Jane, Jennifer and Leanne Evans; lifelong friend Pat Winston; and dear friends Bryan and Norma Scharbach.
Colleen always claimed that she would never have left the kitchen but for the adventurous spirit of Arn. Together they traveled the world, Colleen maintaining the right to “stay on the ship, stay on the bus, or stay with the air-conditioning.”
Retirement years were spent at Berwick Royal Oak in Victoria, B.C.
