Chuck (Charlie) passed away on August 20, 2017 after a brief illness at age 78. Predeceased by his first wife Val, he is survived by his loving wife of 23 years Winn, children Larry, Cheryl, Sherry and Wendy; grandchildren Lindsey, Kyle, Rylan, Shanleigh and Tyson, great-grandchild Madz; siblings Diane and Doug, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Born and raised in Victoria, Chuck spent most of his working life at Victoria Machinery Depot, proudly becoming a part owner in 1986. Upon retirement, he enjoyed woodworking, gardening and camping with Winn and the grandchildren.
Always up for a challenge, he continued to show that determination and passion even while slowing in recent years. He will be missed by all.
A celebration of life will be held at First Memorial - Saanich on September 6, 2017 from 2:00-4:30pm.
