Originally from Vienna, Austria, Charlotte eventually made her home in Cobble Hill, where she built a life filled with family, love, laughter, and the many little things that brought her joy.
Charlotte loved cooking and baking for the people she cared about and hosting family and friends, especially during the holidays. Baking was a particular passion, and she took great pleasure in making things to share with the people she loved. She loved gardening, crafting, crocheting, and doing puzzles, always finding something to keep her hands and mind busy. She enjoyed the comforts of home, good food, and, of course, the occasional sweet treat. She also had a special place in her heart for dogs and was fortunate to share her life with many beloved companions over the years, most recently her dog, Bella. Above all, Charlotte found joy in being surrounded by the people she loved and in the simple ways she could make them feel cared for.
She leaves behind her children, Gabriele, Bernhard, Angelika and Micheal; her grandchildren Melissa, Amanda, Justine, and Laura; and her great-grandson Hunter, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her immeasurably. Her warmth, laughter, spirited personality, and the love she shared through the meals she prepared for those around her will be remembered for years to come.
There will be a private celebration of Life for Charlotte at a later date
