Passed away on February 9, 2023 peacefully at home in Cobble Hill on Vancouver Island, BC.

Dan was born, raised, and had his career as a motorcycle mechanic in Victoria. He was a long time member of the Victoria Motorcycle Club and a well-known member of the motorcycling community on vancouver Island. He was also a long-time volunteer firefighter in Metchosin.
Dan will be missed by the many people who knew and respected him. He is predeceased by his father, Don McLaren 1948, and his mother, Patricia Olson (Wallace, McLaren) 2015.
He is survived by his partner Barb Lohrmann, his sister Penny Harding (Tim), and his brother Alex Olson (Martina).
A celebration of life will be held at First Memorial Funeral Services, 4725 Falaise Dr (Royal Oak) Victoria, BC on Saturday september 16th at 2:00 PM.
