Predeceased by husband Bruce Jubb, an infant daughter, brother Brian Williams, sisters Ora Collard and Lorelai Scott. Survived by daughters Corrine Jubb, Linda (Stuart) Garland, and Marcia (Ray) Tessier, grand-daughter Nadine Kristensen and son Ty, grandsons Scott (Sharon) Jarvis and sons Deven and Owen, Brett (Lisa) Garland, Eric Garland and sons Ethan and Morgan, several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Darleen was an Honorary Life Member of Girl Guides of Canada and the holder of the Medal of Merit. 55 years of Guide service included Alberta, Manitoba, Marville France, Lahr Germany, Comox, Victoria and Surrey. She worked with the Girl Guide Archives committee and was a member of the 2nd Trefoil Guild and the Semiahmoo Guild. Other volunteer work included being an instructor for Taoist Tai Chi in Victoria and assisting at the Surrey Municipal Archives.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the choice of your charity, or Operation Eyesight, or World Vision or Girl Guides of Canada (S. V. I. Area).
Darleen would like to be remembered by having friends do a Good Turn in her name.
