Born on June 9, 1962 in New Westminster to her loving parents, predeceased, Deleip Singh and Balbir Kaur Gill. Survived by her most treasured love, her dedicated son Tyler Delbir Singh Gill. The Gill family moved to Victoria before Darshen could even walk, and where she remained for the majority of her life, near friends and family. Darshen lived a life giving more than she had and rarely receiving what she deserved. Darshen was known for her large heart, bringing laughter, joy and comfort even when she herself was struggling; she always thought of others first. Darshen volunteered and worked to make the lives of those around her better. Darshen is survived by her son Tyler, her brother Paul (Sherry), and sisters Sharon (Pritpaul), Belinder (Hakam), Ranjit, Janice, and Janet.
There will be a ceremony at the Singh Sabha Gurdwara at 470 Cecelia St. following the services. Guruka Langar will be served.
