Our oldest brother David William Morris passed away early March 18th at his residence at The Heights at Mt View. He was 71 years old. He fought a brave battle with cancer and had many other health complications. Dave was born to Bill and Joyce Morris in Regina Sask. and moved to Victoria as an infant. Dave will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Gordon (Fay), Peter (Joye), Theresa (Clarence) Witten and Dan (Leslie), his nephews, nieces and cousins.
Dave lived a quiet life. He enjoyed times spent at the cabin, fishing, driving and family gatherings. He had a strong faith in God and in his last days was looking forward to his heavenly home. We rejoice with Dave that he is now with his Lord and Savior.
We would like to thank the staff at The Heights at Mt. View for their care for Dave for the many years he lived there and particularly during his last days. Thank you to his physician Dr. Emily Pia for her compassion and diligent care. Our thanks also goes to Dr. Michael Metcalf; Dr. Sunil Parimi and the Cancer Clinic staff for their assistance to David this past year.
A Celebration of Life service will be held, hopefully this summer, to rejoice together with memories of Dave’s life.
