In his 90th year Dennis leaves behind his best friend and wife of 64 years Willa, daughter Christianna (Andrew Elgee), grandchildren Lilith, Noah and Rhys, predeceased by his son D’Arcy (Jeannette Nadon). Dennis was born in West Toronto where he trained to become a Journeyman Electrician. He worked in all facets of the trade: estimating; teaching night school; developing a workshop for journeyman to write their “A” License; Chaired the Canadian Branch of the Electrical Inspectors Association, the Carnival Task Force Cttee. which formulated Section 46 of the Canadian Electrical Code and the B.C. Electrical Safety Appeal Board, retiring as Chief Inspector for the City of Victoria. An avid outdoorsman, Dennis loved sailing, skiing, playing soccer and golf. He was fair and well-respected, a mentor to many. A kind, loving family man … a true gentleman. Many thanks to the staff of Saanich Peninsula Palliative Care unit.
