Ted was born in Bristol, England, and immigrated to Canada with his parents when he was four years old. He studied Electrical Engineering at Queens University, and later at Carleton University where he graduated in 1973. He became licensed as a P.Eng., and worked as an electrical engineer for various companies including Northern Telecom & General Motors.
Ted will be greatly missed by his wife Elizabeth, son James (Marie), sister Lorna (Terry), niece Melanie & grand-niece Lilly, nephew Cameron (Sarah) & grand-nephew Ray, his dearest friend John Walker, and extended family abroad. Ted was predeceased by his mother, Betty, and father, Raymond.
Ted suffered from schizophrenia. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation, or another organization supporting schizophrenia research, would be appreciated.
