On August 25, 1962, she married the love of her life, Patrick Joseph Lockert, and together they were blessed with two wonderful children: Gregory (Rose) and Jennifer (Peter). Four amazing grandchildren followed: Sofia, James, Benjamin and David.
In addition to being a homemaker and mother, Elsie worked as a nurse, retailer, social worker and federal civil servant. She did some travelling in her life including Canada, U.S.A., Europe and the Philippines. She also volunteered in her community.
Elsie was predeceased by her parents as well as her husband Patrick, her brother James and sister Lois. She is survived by her sister June, sisters-in-law Terry and Jacquie, as well as her children, grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
Elsie had a full life and will now rest in peace.
