With profound sadness, we share the sudden passing of Erik Arthur Larsen on January 31, 2025, at the age of 45, in Victoria, BC. Erik was a devoted and loving father to his children, Kai and Ella Larsen, who were his greatest joy and proudest accomplishment. His love for them was boundless, and his spirit will live on through the cherished memories they shared.
Predeceased by his parents, Edward and Bette Larsen, Erik is survived by his brother, Kory Larsen, and wife Elaine, along with their children, Bethany (Larsen) and husband Franz Dessombes, Nathan Larsen, Colin Moore, and Katie Moore. He will also be deeply missed by his sister, Rhonda Cook (Larsen), and husband Colin, as well as their children, Alison and husband Mike Turner, Aaron Hill, and Brennan Hill.
Erik was a man of many passions. A masterful woodworker and an inspired designer, he brought visions to life through his craftsmanship, leaving a lasting mark on building projects throughout Victoria.
Erik embraced life with an adventurous spirit. He found freedom in the outdoors, carving through fresh snow on the slopes and conquering rugged mountain bike trails. A gifted musician, his love for music brought him—and those around him—immense joy. Erik’s kindness, loyalty, and deep love for family and friends will never be forgotten. His legacy of creativity, adventure, and unwavering devotion to those he loved will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. The manner in which Erik approached life was founded in his faith and relationship in Christ.
