Frances Perkins passed away peacefully in Victoria at Mount St. Mary Hospital on September 7, 2024 at the age of 94. She is survived by her sons Charles “Tony”, Brent, Loren (Margaret), Greg, her grandchildren Garrett (Keshia), Brianne (Piotr) and her great-grandchildren Ryan, Olivia, Tyler, Cora and Carter. Frances was predeceased by her husband Raymond, sisters Agnes, Helen , brothers Stan, Joe and niece Frances.
Frances was born in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan where she grew up and enjoyed many activities at the Ukrainian Hall. Although Frances had MS for many years she enjoyed life with conversation, many good friends and keeping in touch with many relatives .
She enjoyed following politics and current events and would always engage in a lively discussion. She had quite a collection of cookbooks that she enjoyed and always had a recipe in mind for you to make. She loved to sing and listen to music. Frances (Baba) will be greatly missed by all of us.
