Geoff lived a life marked by gentle kindness. He was known for his independence and intelligence with the ability to build, repair and solve problems with calm ease. He loved simple living, peacefulness and the natural world. He enjoyed his Pender Island community, including monitoring the local water system.
His teen years in Montreal were followed by many chapters - house builder (Chartwell, Parksville), B.Eng software engineer (ACDSystems, Saanich), traveller (truck camping from Whitehorse to Grand Canyon, sailing west coast), and settled homeowner.
Geoff is missed by his sisters Anne and Jane Parkinson, his nieces Lindsay Alley and Megan Sloan (Mark), and especially their children Lindsay, Audrey and Marlin Sloan. RIP 'Gruncle' - the most fun great uncle ever!
