Bud was born to James and Ann MacLean in Vancouver, BC. The first of 4 children and grew up in Vancouver.
Predeceased by loving wife Nancy (2008). Bud met his wife to be at school, not knowing that 12 years later, after a very short courtship they would marry. On May 6, 1961 Bud and Nancy were married and started a journey in his life. One that would take them to Port McNeill and finally to Victoria where they finally settled in 1975.
One of Bud's greatest passions was CFL Football, so much so that in 1954 he was instrumental in bringing the CFL to Vancouver, by putting up front money with other people to see the franchise have a team in Vancouver.
Bud was an enterprising individual who spent most of this life in the transportation industry in one form or another.
He leaved behind his daughter Lisa, son Cameron (Cheryl-Ann) and his two grandson's Lisa's boys Cody and Austin. Also many friends. A special mention to companion Maureen Moore or her devoted friendship to Bud. A special thank you to Barbara McMillan and Tammy Davey who spent much time being great friends and taking him out daily over many years.
A memorial service will be held at on January 14th at First Memorial at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer's Society of B.C or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
