Karen Ruth Aske

She was predeceased by her parents Mac and Pat Murphy. She is survived by her daughters; Kyla (Patrick) Harriott and grandkids Ajax, Caius and Rosa; and Angie Aske (Sean Glickman) and grandkids Serena and Jonah; and her sisters Fran Findlay and family, and Jan Drummond and family.

Karen and husband Wayne had many adventures together, raising their kids, homesteading and then travelling extensively in BC until amicably separating after the kids were grown. She would embark on a great new adventure about every 10 years, from picking wild mushrooms, to owning a health food store, to riding her own motorcycle and travelling. Karen was supported by her firm sense of independence, love of family and a great pride in her sobriety of 36 years. She cherished her grandchildren and was always there for her family. She will be missed dearly.
