Germa, Kirsteen Mary Pettigrew passed away December 13, 2025 at the age of 92. Born August 23,1933 on the Isle of Arran, Scotland, she was a gifted pianist and devoted nurse. A graduate of the Glasgow Infirmary, she moved to Canada in 1958 and spent forty years in nursing, including twenty five years at the Veterans Hospital, Memorial Pavilion, Alcorn Wing in Victoria, British Columbia. Kirsteen was predeceased by her niece Dr. Lindsay Kennedy and by her brothers Malcolm, James, and Lauchlan all of Glasgow. She is survived by her brother Colin and many beloved relatives in Scotland. She is survived by her two sons, Dr. Russell Germa Kennedy (Cynthia) and Scott Germa Kennedy(Tammy). Her grandchildren, Ryan, Averi and Leandra (Micah) and two great grandchildren, Avielle and Angus.
