I have been thinking a lot about you all, and hope you are slowly coming to terms with this sad loss.   Lynette leaves behind a legacy of loyalty as a long time friend of mine.

 Lynette was a dear cousin who united our family with her cheerful emails, Christmas letters and photos. She will be greatly missed.

First met Lynne while nursing in London in the late 60,s. Last year we met up in The Butchart Gardens for the first time since we left and spent a few hours catching up on old times and talking gardening,which we both loved. A cherished memory.

My sympathy to Emil, Judy and family.  I went to school with Lynette although she was 2 years below me.  We were in St John Ambulance Cadets together before she went nursing.  Dale, my late husband, and I bought a section off her Mum and Dad.  Great neighbours and Mrs Tripney was as gracious as her daughter Lynette.  We were lucky to catch up when Lynette and Judy visited their parents. Lynette was a nurse in the Geraldine Maternity Hospital when I had my first baby and what a caring nurse she was.  A lovely lady taken too soon,  my heart goes out to you all. My prayers, sympathy & love at this sad time.

Lawrence and I are sorry Emil to hear of Lynne's passing.  She was a lovely woman.  Our deepest sympathy.

My sincere condolences !

I worked with Lynette from 1976 until I retired in 2003.  I never did get used to calling her Lynne. She was definitely one of the great nurses I worked with over the years, and truly a beautiful woman. Our LDR unit was honoured to have such a well rounded person on our staff.

So sad, too soon.   I met Lynn when we started our nursing training in Timaru NewZealand, and we did our first overseas trip together to Sydney, we worked and lived together on and off during the following years, and she was able to attend my wedding in Timaru, meeting several of her class mates 11 years later.   Am so glad I got to see her a few times when I visited Victoria 3 years ago, and we had a picnic lunch in the Volkswagon van. {Margret Bates, Timaru)

The world is surely a far less graceful place without Lynne.  I so loved working with her and she taught me plenty in the ways of the labouring mum. She was forever on the move with her quick wit and nimble mind.  I am deeply sorry for your loss and will be forever grateful to have known your beautiful Lynne.

I am so very sorry to hear of Lynne 's passing. I nursed with her for a few years at Burnaby General. I hired her to work with us at Victoria General Hospital- she was a wonderful midwife and a loyal employee. Sincerely FRAN MARTIN
