We love you, Mom. Our world is less bright, but Heaven is so much brighter. She leaves to “carry the torch” her loving family David (Linda) Grist, Dianne (Mike) Sickels and Dawna (John) Caplin, Dave Jennings and Ruth Crawford. She will also be missed by 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, brothers, sister, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Pre-deceased by her loving husband Ken Jennings.
As her great granddaughter said: “When we miss you, we will just look into our hearts.”
We would like to thank the Director and staff of the Cedars for their friendship, love and kindness to Mom during her 13 years as a resident. Thank you to the community health workers who were so loving and kind to Mom in her home. Also, a huge thank you to the amazing Hospice staff who cared for Mom during her last few weeks at Victoria Hospice.
A celebration of Mom’s life will be held at Colwood Pentecostal Church on Saturday, September 11. 2021 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Nanoose Bay Pentecostal Camp.
