Marilyn Carroll Sherman

Marilyn was born in Chipman, New Brunswick, and lived a life filled with love, family, and meaningful connections. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose kindness and compassion touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Marilyn had a caring heart and was always thinking of others before herself. She loved staying connected with the people she loved, checking in often, asking about their days, and making sure those around her felt cared for and valued.

She had a wonderfully quirky sense of humor and a gift for finding laughter in everyday moments. Even during difficult times, Marilyn could bring a smile to those around her. Her warmth, gentle spirit, and loving nature will be remembered and cherished always.

Family meant everything to Marilyn. She loved deeply and unconditionally, and the time she spent with her family brought her great happiness. Her love, guidance, laughter, and unwavering support will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Marilyn was predeceased by her parents, Ada Sherman (Northrup) and Gordon Sherman; her sister, Dyanna Cave (Sherman); and her beloved daughter, Lynda Sherman.

She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her children, Scott O'Hara, Pam Burke (Creamer), and Sonja Carper (Creamer); her grandchildren, Samantha Norman, John Norman, Joshua O'Hara, Makenzie Burke, and Christopher Burke; her many great-grandchildren, whom she adored and who brought her great joy; and her siblings, Barbara Shields (Sherman), Jimmy Sherman, and Gordie Sherman.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate and dedicated staff at Ayre Manor Hospice for the exceptional care, kindness, dignity, and comfort they provided to Marilyn during her final days.

Although our hearts are broken by her passing, we are deeply grateful for the many precious memories we shared with her. We will remember her laughter, her caring words, her strength, and the unconditional love she gave so freely.

Marilyn will be forever loved, forever missed, and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
